Stavros Didakis is an artist,academic,andresearcher specializing in computational artswith a focus on speculations about technologicalfutures,architectural augmentations,andhuman-machine entanglements.His workencompasses the development of systems andmedia installations that utilize sensory interfacesrobotics, machine learning, and Al. Stavros hasreceived grants and awards in creative technologiesand has showcased his interactive works at variousinternational exhibitions and biennials,includingthe Shanghai Biennale, Chronus Art Center, TankShanghai, Tate Modern, Ars Electronica, Gezira ArtCenter,Athens Biennale,SIGGRAPH,and MediaArchitecture Biennale, among others. Furthermorehe has made significant contributions to numerouspublications in conferences, journals, and bookssuch as ISEA,ACM,Politics of the Machines,and Technoetic Arts. Currently, Stavros holds theposition of Associate Professor in InteractiveMedia Arts at New York University (Shanghai).where he instructs courses for both undergraduateand postgraduate programs(IMA,Low-Res).Hiscourses specialize in Synthetic Media, EmergingTechnologies & Computational Arts, ResponsiveEnvironments,and E罡癌tended Perception.
