Ana Prendes is a Spanish curator, writer and producer based in London, UK. With an interdisciplinary background in chemistry, science and technology studies, and contemporary art, her curatorial work focuses on the impact of our techno-scientific culture on society. Since 2020 she has been assistant curator and communications producer of Arts at CERN, the arts programme of the European Laboratory for Particle Physics in Geneva. She has co-hosted the Arts at CERN podcast, co-authored the publication Art-Science Collisions: Notes from a choral dialogue in Barcelona (2022), and is assistant editor of the book Creativity across Cultures (2024). She is also project manager at Science Gallery International, where she curates and produces youth-led art-science programmes, including the Science Gallery Network Youth Symposia in 2021 and 2022. She has been selected for programmes and fellowships at institutions such as the Documenta Institute, the National Autonomous University of Mexico, Ars Electronica, Falling Walls, and Humboldt University Berlin. Her words have appeared in publications such as TANK Magazine, MAAT, Colombian Artistic Research Magazine, and CLOT Magazine.
