Dr. Xiangning Li, Professor, Deputy dean of CAUPTJU (College of Architecture and Urban Planning, Tongji University), Changjiang Scholar, architecture theorist, critic and curator. He is a member of CICA (Comité International des Critiques d'Architecture) and Secretary General of the China Architectural Society Architectural Criticism Committee, and Editor-in-Chief at the international magazine Architecture China. He has worked at TU Darmstadt (Technische Universität Darmstadt), Tokyo Institute of Technology, and UCLA etc. He has served an editorial board member of magazines including Plan and Le Visiteur (Journal of Société Française des Architectes). He was a jury member to many international awards and competitions including Spanish International Architectural Award, and Mies van der Rohe Award for the European Union Prize for Contemporary Architecture.

This lecture demonstrates the history of international architectural curation and the retrospection of the important exhibitions since the twentieth century, and it will explore contemporary Chinese architecture exhibitions and some works created by the speaker.
