I hold a Master in history of contemporary art from Paris I Panthéon-Sorbonne University and a Master in contemporary art and curatorial practices from Sorbonne University. Previously, I served as Exhibition and Financial officer at La Plage artist-run space, as Graduate Curatorial Intern at Kadist, at the Centre Georges Pompidou for Cosmopolis #1,5 (Chengdu, autumn 2018) and Cosmpolis #2 (Paris, autumn 2019), and for Curator Nataša Petrešin-Bachelez and Professor Giovanna Zapperi.
As a curator, my interests are oriented towards transnational subjects, inclusive and forward thinking curatorial practices. My approach aims at articulating multidisciplinary artistic practices through didactic exhibition projects drawing on sensitive and expanding areas of research to create time and space to perceive our world differently and imagine new alternatives.
I recently curated the work of Lebanese artist Maha Yammine who works on the poetic potentialities unveiled by the action of remembering repetitive gestures inherent to a former working activity, along with the work of German artist and researcher Irène Melix relying on the history of 1920's lesbian community in Berlin to produce transhistoric tales and objects to question and link forgotten past specific situations to actual gender minorities representation issues. This work took part of Partout, mais pas pour très longtemps, a large-scale collective exhibition of international artists engaging with multiple transnational subjects taking place in the reopened-for-the occasion space of the first contemporary art center in Lyon, France.
